Mike Nesdill, a 6-2, 183lb blueliner will be entering his first professional season in 2008-09 with the Victoria Salmon Kings. He spent his last four years in the NCAA at Bowling State Green University in Ohio.

After a record-setting fourth season, capped off with the Victoria's first-ever West Division Championship, the Salmon Kings are already gearing up for a monumental 2008-2009 campaign, and season tickets are now on sale.

The Kings are currently in the top 10 ECHL logos as selected by The Hockey News' Ultimate Logo Tournament. Based on poll results, 40 teams will be chosen to participate in the tournament that begins September 1st.

Last season Kelly split time between the Salmon Kings and the Moose. He contributed 23 points (7g-16a), and earned 59 penalty minutes in 54 games for Victoria while adding two penalty minutes in seven games in Manitoba.
